Rasyue’s Cafe Hunting #1 (Naj & Belle Bangsar)

By syusyi | On July 15, 2020

Back then when we both were young and free, we used to go for cafe hunting on almost every weekend. KL, PJ, Subang and even Shah Alam… We really have been to places sigh (Imagine the amount of money we spent on food really though). These days, probably due to ageing factor and few other reasons have made us felt so lazy to go out during weekend, not to mention the traffics we have to face some more.

Anyways, we used to have our favourite cafe/restaurants that I presumed most of them have already closed down in 2020. The one I could recall was Breadties which located at Melawati area, not really sure if you had any chance to dine in there but the Carbonara there was really really amayh-zing. Superb! Tried Carbonara at few other restaurants/cafes but still couldn’t beat that one.

Besides, our fav cafe is Didie’s located in Danau Kota. We used to go there to during weekend however its closed already in 2019. Few weeks before they cease their operation, we manage to have iftar for the last time there. I really hope in future there will be more cafes like Breadties and Didie’s in my area.

So, we are planning to go for cafe/restaurant hunting once a month and will update it here in our blog. Hopefully the posts will be helpful and useful for you guys to start your food hunting journey too!

Naj & Belle

Talking bout fav cafes/restaurants? We do have a few restaurants that we are looking forward to go during MCO the other day. One of them is Naj & Belle. My first time eating here was in April 2019, it was during one of my colleague’s farewell and didn’t thought that this place would be my farewell place as well >.< Oh, we even celebrated our Anniversary here right a week before MCO begins (fuhh luckily) and gladly my husband loves this place as well. My husband is very hard to please when it comes to food but Alhamdulillah he likes Naj & Belle and even talked about wanting to dine here when MCO ends. Hihihi lets go baby!

Deconstructed Pavlova – MYR 26. Slightly sweeter than usual Pavlova.
Farewell. Till we meet again guys.

Variety of Food & Beverages

I love love loveeee the food there. Everything was perfect, the ambience, the spacious dining area, the well-cooked food and even the customer services is excellent! Been there for like 4 times already and it never disappoint me every time. Oh, I am yet to try the signature watermelon cake, perhaps will try it on my next visit. You can check their FB too for more info https://www.facebook.com/najnbelle/

They offer mostly Western and Asian cuisine. If you are not really sure what to eat for lunch/brunch then Naj & Belle is the answer. >.< Surprisingly Naj & Belle is a Muslim-owned company. I read few other blogs that stating the owner of Naj & Belle is Najib Hamid which he is the MD of Serai Group (Jibby & Co, Jibby east, Jibby Chow and Serai itself). I was amaze to find out that Naj & Belle is his restaurant too <3 #SupportLokal

Nachos with Guacamole, Cheese and Hot Sauce dip. The finest guacamole ever. I tried making one like this at home but still couldn’t find the right taste like this one.
Seafood Aglio Olio – MYR 35
All time favouriteeeeeee. Linguine white cream Carbonara. It doesn’t stated in the menu however you can opt to change from Pesto to white Carbonara. – MYR 33
Soft Shell Crab Linguine – MYR 32
Persian Medley – MYR 110.00 (For 2 Pax). Tastes quite authentically unique.
Bombastic – MYR 30 (like its name, the taste is way too Bombastic. Love this!)
I think this is Nasi Ulam Ayam Bakar – MYR 33

How about the price? The price range is between affordable – quit expensive. But really, who cares about paying more if its worth it right?

Overall, Naj & Belle offers such varieties of great food and wonderful customer service. Would love to come back here with our families soon.

Thank you for reading 🙂
